Meet Andrew
Physician. Photographer.
Catholic author.
Andrew Mai, MD CCFP(PC), works as a physician in both primary care and palliative care. He lives and works near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
He loves photographing God’s creation and sacred art. In The Saint I Am Called to Be, his photographs accompany an invitation to contemplative prayer with Jesus.
Andrew is developing True Identity Ministry to share that invitation through his book, talks, prayer gatherings, and retreats.
A word from Andrew
In the author’s note, Andrew reflects on the messages that can obscure our sense of who we are. He returns to the conviction at the heart of this ministry:
“Our true identity, from the moment of our conception, is that we are beloved sons and daughters of God, created in His Image and Likeness.”
His hope is that this prayer will help readers know God more deeply and discover their own identity in Him.
“May this prayer bring you closer to becoming the saint you are called to be.”
